As part of its ongoing expansion, KEDA is hiring three Marketing Specialists to join its marketing and field engagement team.
Key Responsibilities
As a Marketing Specialist, you will play a key role in promoting KEDA’s tile products, developing loyalty programs, coordinating with tilers and field users, and ensuring real-time customer feedback is incorporated into marketing and sales strategies.
Loyalty Program and Field Engagement
- Register new tilers into the company’s loyalty program, ensuring data accuracy and proper segmentation.
- Collect and scan reward points from tilers, manage points systems, and verify transactions.
- Monitor Key Performance Targets (KPTs) assigned to tilers, including feedback collection, points accumulation, participation in promotional events, and product redemption activities.
- Manage and verify gift issuance, coordinate with finance and logistics teams to ensure rewards are delivered and logged.
Communication and Customer Support
- Serve as a communication bridge between tilers and the company, collecting complaints, suggestions, and improvement feedback.
- Coordinate with internal departments to resolve customer issues, improve service quality, and drive repeat business.
Digital Tools and App Training
- Onboard users to the Best Fundi App, a digital loyalty and engagement platform used by tilers.
- Train users on app functionalities, benefits, and troubleshooting.
- Collect feedback on app usability, report bugs or issues, and suggest product improvements.
Performance Reporting and Data Analysis
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports, highlighting tilers’ activities, target achievement, and incentive data.
- Analyze trends and recommend new marketing strategies based on field data.
- Assist in evaluating the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and tiler engagement programs.
Promotional Campaigns and Events
- Support in organizing and executing local marketing events, tiler roadshows, and promotions targeting construction professionals.
- Participate in market activations, exhibitions, and client meetings to represent KEDA’s brand professionally.
Continuous Improvement and Team Contribution
- Provide market intelligence reports regarding competitor activity, tiler satisfaction levels, and showroom engagement patterns.
- Perform any other marketing-related tasks assigned by the Marketing Manager or Department Heads.
Qualifications and Skills
To excel in this role, candidates must possess a mix of technical understanding, marketing capability, and field engagement skills. The role is designed for those who are confident working on-site, managing technical customers, and building long-term brand loyalty.
Minimum Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or Interior Design from a recognized university or technical institution.
Required Experience
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience in showroom or retail construction project environments.
- Demonstrated experience in field marketing, customer relationship management, or loyalty program execution is highly desirable.
Technical Skills
- Ability to manage construction timelines, budgets, and stakeholder relationships.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and PowerPoint).
- Experience in data collection, points-based systems, and report generation.
- Comfortable with mobile apps and digital marketing tools used for field engagement.
Interpersonal Competencies
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with fluency in both English and Kiswahili.
- Good presentation and public speaking skills for tiler training and event engagement.
- Ability to build trust-based relationships with tilers, contractors, and vendors.

- Highly organized, able to multitask and meet reporting deadlines.
- Proactive and solution-oriented, capable of resolving issues independently.
