Key Responsibilities
- Establish and lead research partnerships nationally, regionally, and internationally.
- Initiate and lead external bids for research funding and consultancies.
- Exercise sapiential authority and intellectual leadership in academic program design.

- Identify student learning needs and design appropriate learning outcomes.
- Assess student activities, provide feedback, and develop laboratory manuals.

- Experience: At least 5 years as an Associate Professor or 9 years as Research Faculty or equivalent.
- Publications: Minimum 60 publications since Associate Professorship, with 40 in refereed journals.
- Supervision: Supervised at least 10 doctoral and 5 master’s students to completion.
- Added Advantage: Registered patents and commercialized innovations.
- Membership: Professional body membership where applicable.
- Skills: Demonstrable knowledge of current ICTs.
- Requirements: Fulfill Chapter 6 of the Constitution of Kenya (clearances from KRA, HELB, EACC, CID).
