Purpose and Objectives of the Internship Program
The AfDB Internship Program seeks to:

Internship Duration and Modality
- Duration: Minimum of 3 months; maximum of 6 months

- Remote or On-Site participation, depending on the unit’s operational requirements
- Interns working remotely must have:
- A personal laptop or desktop computer
- Reliable internet access
- A quiet, professional workspace for daily engagement
- Interns reporting on-site must arrange and fund their travel and accommodation independently
- AfDB will provide support for visa applications where necessary

Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must fulfill the following eligibility criteria:
- Be a national of a member country of AfDB
- Be at least the age of majority in their home country, and under 30 years old at the time of program commencement
- Be currently enrolled in a Master’s-level degree program, or have graduated within the past 12 months
- Submit a letter of enrollment or a recent degree certificate from their academic institution
- Possess strong written and spoken skills in English or French
- Demonstrate basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with SAP is a plus

Internship Terms and Benefits
