Key Responsibilities

As an Accounts Intern, your responsibilities will involve hands-on financial operations, reporting, and internal process support, including:

• Update accounts receivable and payable, issue invoices, and perform financial reconciliations

• Assist in compiling financial reports and budgeting templates, when required
• Use accounting software tools, such as Xero, QuickBooks, or Odoo to input, retrieve, and reconcile data
• Collaborate with the team to complete monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
• Participate in regular finance team meetings, providing input and updates on progress
• Support grant tracking and donor financial reporting, as required in social enterprise finance
• Aid in cash flow tracking, budgeting, and variance analysis for projects
