About the Role

Would you like to leverage your linguistic expertise and contribute to the development of cutting-edge AI tools? We are seeking AI evaluators to support the creation of advanced grammar correction and proofreading tools in French.
This role offers the opportunity to participate in an innovative project aimed at building a rich and diverse corpus of French texts, annotated and corrected by human experts.

In this assignment, you will be required to:

• Respond to prompts simulating realistic communications in professional or informal contexts.
• Write short plausible texts (3 to 4 sentences in business contexts; 1 to 2 sentences in informal contexts).
• Generate texts intentionally containing realistic grammar, spelling, and structural errors.
• Review message pairs (original text and corrected/revised version) to validate that:
• All errors are adequately corrected;
• The meaning of the text is preserved;
• Error classifications are correct;
• Explanations are clear and linguistically justified.

Desired Profile

• Native French (C2 level).
• English as a second language (minimum B2 level).
• Excellent mastery of written communication.
• Ability to follow linguistic and situational writing prompts.
• Two (2) years of experience in a corporate/professional environment.
• One (1) year of relevant experience as an AI evaluator, data annotator, or equivalent role.
• Proficiency with computer tools and fast typing speed.
• Logical mindset, critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and creative writing ability.
• Autonomy, reliability, and sense of responsibility.
• Ability to collaborate with project managers and contribute to best practices for quality standards.
• Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic and constantly evolving environment.
• Access to a personal laptop.

Assets

• C1 or C2 level in English.
• Experience in the field of generative artificial intelligence (GenAI).

About the Role (English Summary)

We are looking for highly skilled AI Evaluators to support the development of advanced AI tools for grammar correction and proofreading. This project focuses on creating a rich and diverse dataset of written French text, annotated and corrected by humans.

Responsibilities:

• Respond to a set of prompts simulating realistic business or casual communication.
• Write clear, plausible short texts (3–4 sentences for business settings, 1–2 sentences for casual chat).
• Generate responses with intentional but realistic grammar, spelling, and structural errors.
• Review annotated message pairs (input text + corrected/proofread version) to ensure:
• All grammar/spelling/preposition/punctuation errors are corrected appropriately
• Meaning is preserved between input and corrected text
• Error types are classified correctly
• Explanations are clear and linguistically sound

Qualifications:

• French as a first language – C2 French proficiency
• English as a second language – B2 English proficiency
• Ability to follow linguistic and situational writing prompts
• Good written communication and creativity
• 2 years working experience in a corporate/business environment
• 1 year working experience as an AI Evaluator, data annotator, or similar role
• Strong computer literacy and fast, accurate typing skills essential for navigating annotation tools
• Strong logic, intuitive problem-solving, and critical thinking; adaptability to task needs. Open-minded and welcoming of different viewpoints/solutions
• Proactiveness, confidence to work independently without constant support. Reliability and good decision-making
• Be a thought partner to delivery managers, input into project delivery strategies, and share quality best practices
• Adapt quickly to evolving guidelines, new task types, and AI model updates in a fast-paced, iterative environment
• Access to your own laptop for work

Preferred Qualifications:

• C1 or C2 English preferred
• Experience working with NLP/GenAI models is a plus
