Key Responsibilities

CARE ASSISTANT – KISUMU (Ref: 42/2025) & NAKURU (Ref: 43/2025)

  • Serve refreshments to both clients and staff during designated hours or as needed
  • Assist with personal hygiene for clients including baths, urinals, and travel to and from restrooms
  • Support meal times by helping with feeding, serving meals, and providing water and snacks
  • Offer vocal local support to comfort clients during medical procedures
  • Maintain accurate petty cash usage logs and operate under supervision of the Centre Manager
  • Facilitate client registration and reception desk responsibilities
  • Perform data entry and manage clerical duties for service delivery documentation
  • Maintain clinic hygiene through scheduled cleaning and sanitation
  • Ensure strict infection prevention compliance and support infection control programs
  • Oversee linen availability ensuring theatre and bed linen are clean and pressed
  • Manage kitchen cleanliness, utensil arrangement, and hygiene
  • Run errands such as petty cash purchases and bank deposits, submitting corresponding receipts
  • Support sterilization of equipment and assist in clinical procedures
  • Protect client confidentiality and uphold data privacy standards
  • Register patient information systematically into electronic health systems
  • Balance cash accounts daily, reconciling discrepancies with the finance team
  • Generate and file transaction reports including daily, weekly, and monthly summaries
  • Verify insurance benefits and claims ensuring accurate billing for NHIF and private insurance clients

RECEPTIONIST – NAIROBI (ICEA Building) (Ref: 44/2025)

  • Greet and direct clients and visitors at the front desk with professionalism and warmth
  • Handle all incoming calls by answering, screening, and transferring as needed
  • Prepare and manage insurance claims, liaising with third-party payers
  • Receive and sort mail, handling both physical correspondence and internal messages
  • Document and escalate complaints from clients to the Centre Manager
  • Manage petty cash usage and ensure accountability through timely documentation
  • Follow standard operating procedures and maintain workflow processes
  • Complete logs, records, and official documentation on a daily basis
  • Update electronic health records with accurate and current client details
  • Reconcile financial accounts daily and maintain consistent petty cash logs
  • Ensure clean, professional clinic environment, stepping in for cleaning when necessary
  • Support clients during procedures using calming vocal techniques
  • Work closely with the Care Assistant to ensure smooth, patient-centered operations

Qualifications and Skills

  • Minimum educational qualification: Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) or equivalent
  • Diploma or certificate in: Front Office Management, Business Studies, Customer Care, or a related field is an added advantage
