Responsibilities and Duties
Content Development
- Research/draft/produce high-quality external content TfG/initiatives blogs/longform articles/case studies/web copy/social media/fundraising materials crafting clear/compelling narratives.
- Translate sector-specific activities/research findings/policy developments accessible/engaging stories diverse audiences.
- Conduct interviews/gather insights partners/experts/colleagues inform accurate/compelling storytelling.
- Create graphics Canva support/elevate written content.
- Ensure content trauma-informed/empowering/aligned TfG’s values/survivor-centered principles.
- Manage editorial calendar/maintain steady pipeline strategic/compelling content.
Story Sourcing and Strategy
- Identify story hooks TfG’s initiatives highlight impact/elevate survivor voices/celebrate successes/showcase global Brave movement-building.
- Work closely colleagues program/development teams understand content needs/identify cross-initiative storytelling opportunities.
- Identify opportunities evergreen content blog series/web pages/case studies/thematic stories showcase breadth TfG’s work.
- Recommend effective channels/formats bring stories life reach target audiences.
Communications Support
- Support communications colleagues implementing digital/social media/internal comms/news media strategies achieve broader team goals surge times.
- Serve communications point contact meetings appropriate.
- Assist communications team foundational tasks news monitoring/meeting minutes/awards submissions.
- Other duties assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Required
- 3-4 years experience content creation/journalism/communications/marketing roles.
- Exceptional copywriting/editing/narrative development skills multiple formats blogs/feature articles/web content/social media.
- Familiarity content management systems (CMS)/digital platforms.
- Experience basic presentation/design software Canva.
- Self-starter willingness take initiative/creative/think strategically.
- Excellent organizational skills manage multiple priorities.
- Collaborative mindset experience working across teams/functions.
- Experience working respectfully/professionally persons experienced trauma/hardship.
- Experience working remote/cross-cultural teams.
- Fluency verbal/written English.
