Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor network traffic, system logs, and security alerts to identify suspicious behavior, cyber threats, and fraud indicators.
  • Investigate cybersecurity incidents, fraud cases, and data breaches to determine root causes, scope, and business impact.
  • Analyze trends and patterns in cyber threats and fraudulent activities to design and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Implement, manage, and optimize security tools including SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and endpoint protection solutions.
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses in systems and applications.
  • Collaborate closely with IT and risk teams to ensure security best practices are consistently applied across infrastructure.
  • Develop, review, and enforce cybersecurity and fraud prevention policies, procedures, and internal controls.
  • Stay current with emerging cyber risks, threat intelligence, and regulatory requirements affecting the financial sector.
  • Prepare detailed investigation reports, dashboards, and executive summaries for management review.
  • Conduct cybersecurity awareness and fraud prevention training for staff across the organization.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in active financial fraud analysis with a strong IT and cybersecurity background.
  • Proven hands-on experience with enterprise security technologies, including:
    • SIEM (Security Information and Event Management)
    • DAM (Database Activity Monitoring)
    • PAM (Privileged Access Management)
    • NDR (Network Detection and Response)
    • XDR (Extended Detection and Response)
  • Strong analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent reporting, documentation, and stakeholder communication abilities.
  • High level of integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
