1. Graphic Designer Intern (Nairobi – 1 Post)
Brief Overview:
The Graphic Designer Intern is responsible for the graphic and creative design of all clients’ and the organization’s internal communication materials, as per the briefs provided, while supporting visual storytelling and brand consistency.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for the graphic and creative design of all clients and the organization’s internal communication materials, as per the briefs provided
- Design communication materials including newsletters, flyers, websites, advertisements, logos, packaging, and more
- Ensure creative executions are visually appealing and communicate the right message while attracting people’s attention
- Work with other team members to understand what is needed and come up with creative solutions
- Support the development of creative concepts for both internal and external communication materials
Requirements for Appointment / Qualifications
- Entry level in Creative Design Studio or Printing Press with minimal (1–2 years) experience in an agency or any other busy organisation
- Cutting edge Graphic Designer with critical and creative thinking, who can go beyond conventional graphics and look at Digital Design, Motion Graphics, Presentations & Graphic Editing
- Ability to use Macintosh related design and editing programmes including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and provide for basic Sketch, Typography, Branding and Layout Design
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a dynamic, creative and fast-paced environment
- Ability to work well with others and independently as needed
- Ability to cope with pressure and work with tight deadlines
- Positive attitude with a proactive approach
- Diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or related field
- Showcase of work done and proven experience as a creative designer
- Excellent visual and conceptual skills
- Attention to detail and aesthetic sensibility
