Key Responsibilities

As the Human Resource Partner for Learning and Employee Relations, you will report directly to the Head of HR & Administration and assume the following primary responsibilities:

  • Drive Learning & Development (L&D) agenda by identifying training needs, coordinating internal and external training programs, and monitoring employee learning progress
  • Manage employee relations, supporting policy implementation and ensuring workplace harmony and conflict resolution
  • Participate in Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) negotiations, including documentation, data analysis, and policy alignment
  • Maintain up-to-date HR data systems for performance, attendance, training, leave, and personnel files
  • Lead or contribute to strategic HR projects, such as employer branding, wellness programs, and policy audits
  • Develop HR policies and frameworks aligned with evolving labor regulations and organizational goals
  • Promote employee engagement initiatives, including recognition programs, satisfaction surveys, and wellness days
  • Coordinate talent development programs, including succession planning and career progression frameworks
  • Monitor HR metrics, prepare reports, and provide insight for management decision-making
  • Act as an advisor to line managers and supervisors on HR-related issues and employee life cycle matters
  • Facilitate employee orientation programs, onboarding and integration support for new hires
  • Liaise with external training consultants, learning institutions, and regulatory bodies to enhance learning outcomes
  • Lead diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) efforts, ensuring representation and equal opportunity within the organization

Qualifications and Experience

Minimum Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field
  • Postgraduate Diploma in HRM (CHRP certification is an added advantage)
  • A minimum of five (5) years of supervisory experience in a busy HR environment (FMCG or manufacturing preferred)

Preferred Skills and Competencies:

  • Experience in employee relations, union negotiations, and CBA implementation

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including public speaking
  • Demonstrated experience in HR policy development and execution

  • Emotional intelligence, team collaboration and coaching capabilities
