Key Responsibilities

DFS Strategy and Innovation

  • Drive implementation BKCL digital strategies/action plans increase outreach/superior customer experience/increase organizational efficiency/find balance tech/touch customers.
  • Work closely BKCL management provide strategic input/thought leadership use DFS better meet needs/improve livelihoods existing/target customers women/youth.
  • Conduct periodic analysis/review BKCL’s implementation existing DFS strategies alignment overall strategic business plan ensure DFS/technology contribute achievement BKCL’s business strategy.
  • Conduct market assessments inform refinement DFS strategy/development market-led innovative technology-enabled financial solutions meet needs existing/target customers.

Digital Processes, Channels and Products

  • Design/test/refine/implement DFS projects BKCL. Develop/implement DFS project-specific pilot/scale up plans/activities customer needs analysis/business requirements analysis/detailed project implementation planning/reporting/change management maximize impact DFS projects business/customers.
  • Develop detailed functional requirements DFS tools/applications coordinate functions/departments implement DFS adapt processes/products accordingly.
  • Monitor/track progress DFS projects ensure activities achieved effective/efficient/timely manner.
  • Design/implement monitoring surveys use findings refine/improve BRAC’s processes/products enhance customer experience DFS.
  • Continuous training/handholding BKCL’s staff defining/implementing business case/value proposition DFS channels/products piloting/scaling DFS documenting/sharing lessons learned implementation DFS projects.
  • Design/implement client/staff digital training programs collaboration relevant BKCL departments/functions including digital training content/training plans/training delivery.
  • Disseminate/share knowledge/lessons learned different BI MF countries support implementation organizational best practices designing/implementing digital projects BI MF.
  • Collaborate industry stakeholders design/develop/test/refine digital solutions structured environment ready use tools.
  • Support BKCL develop/refine/implement digital-related policies/procedures/standards.
  • Work marketing/communication teams design effective marketing campaigns/communication enhance adoption/active usage DFS.
  • Cooperate BI MF digital transformation/IT/operations/other relevant teams implementation BKCL’s DFS strategies/action plans.
  • Develop/manage relationships third parties digital solutions suppliers/FinTechs/developers etc.

Market and Ecosystem Intelligence

  • Keep active watch digital technologies market improve quality/efficiency BKCL’s field operations/product/service delivery.
  • Work enabling stakeholders regulators/universities/governments/think-tanks/BRAC’s fundraising teams/others innovate/maximize DFS impact.

Educational & Experience Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree Business Administration/Finance/Economics/Development Studies/IT/Engineering.

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience financial inclusion/product development/digital finance/microfinance/payments platforms.
  • Strong exposure DFS strategy top-level strategy formulation/business process assessment.
  • Experienced customer-centric research leveraging insights drive DFS adoption/impact.
  • Hands-on experience implementing digital field tools/mobile payments/agent banking/DFS projects.
  • Solid project management background.
  • Experience working MNOs/FinTechs/financial institutions/regulators plus.
