- Support Staff / Sanitary Cleaners: Basic Salary KSh 18,250 – 22,720 p.m. plus House Allowance (depending on area), Commuter Allowance KSh 3,000, and Leave Allowance KSh 4,000 (once yearly).
These figures are official government-approved salary scales under the Civil Service Grading structure; remuneration is determined by the Government of Kenya / Public Service Commission.

Brief Overview:
This is a training grade for the gardening cadre. Officers appointed to this position will be deployed to maintain lawns, gardens, flowerbeds, and undertake varied gardening-related duties within Ministry establishments.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain lawns, gardens, flowerbeds, and landscaped areas.
- Undertake varied work relating to gardening in the Ministry’s Units, State House, and Lodges.
Requirements for Appointment / Qualifications
- Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) mean grade D+ (Plus) or its equivalent qualification.

Brief Overview:
This is an entry-level position responsible for sanitary cleaning, messengerial duties, and other related support services within the Ministry.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Undertake sanitary cleaning in the area of deployment.
- Perform messengerial duties.
- Undertake any other related duties as assigned.
Requirements for Appointment / Qualifications
- Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) mean grade D (Plain) or its equivalent qualification.
- Certificate in Computer Application Skills from a recognized institution.

- Basic Salary: KSh 18,250 – 22,720 p.m.
