Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree in IT or Computer Science or a related field.
  • Master’s Degree in a relevant field is preferred.
  • Minimum of ten years of professional paid work experience in Information Technology or a related field.
  • Proven experience in Information Systems management, Enterprise IT Risk management, and IT workforce management, particularly in international NGOs.
  • Knowledge and ability to manage enterprise networks, preferably Windows-based.
  • Previous working experience with USG funded projects is an added advantage.
  • Minimum of five years of direct supervisory experience.
  • Strong organizational and management skills with attention to detail.
  • Computer literacy with emphasis on Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
  • Excellent interpersonal and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise with stakeholders and deliver training.
  • Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail for forensic audits and investigations.
  • Proven experience in IT service management and leading skilled IT personnel.
  • Strong knowledge in Information Technology Governance and Management.
  • Strong knowledge in Information Systems Security Framework and Enterprise IT Risk management.
  • Strong knowledge in networking administration and security, especially with Cisco devices.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in systems administration, including Microsoft 365 and Windows servers.
  • Knowledge of software development languages and software design is a plus.
