1. Physics & Chemistry Teacher (Nairobi – 1 Post)
Brief Overview:
The Physics & Chemistry Teacher will teach Cambridge Physics and Chemistry across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 while fostering students’ academic achievement, moral character, and individual talents through quality instruction and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Physics & Chemistry across Key Stage 3 & 4.
- Actively encourage and facilitate the formation of each student’s moral character, unique skills, capacities and talents through continuous improvement in ensuring quality education.
Requirements for Appointment / Qualifications
- At least five years demonstrable teaching experience in a recognized International School preferably one delivering Cambridge Assessment International Education.
- Bachelor of Education (Science) degree with specialization in Physics & Chemistry from a recognized institution.
- Must be registered with the Teachers Service Commission.
- Demonstrate a good knowledge and understanding of current educational issues relating to the specialist subject areas.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Interpersonal skills.
- Embrace team spirit.
- Ability to work with a diverse student body.
- Self-driven.
- Be willing to inspire, challenge, motivate and empower students.
