Key Responsibilities
As a Property Sales & Marketing Executive at Optiven, you will:
- Develop consistent and innovative lead generation strategies through both traditional and digital platforms
- Generate and manage a pipeline of quality sales leads that align with Optiven’s target clientele
- Close property sales with efficiency and professionalism, ensuring smooth transition from prospect to satisfied customer
- Walk with the customer through the entire buying journey, offering world-class after-sales service until the title deed is issued
- Support marketing campaigns by actively promoting current projects and upcoming launches
- Represent Optiven in property exhibitions, trade shows, networking events, and open days
- Identify and capitalize on new market opportunities and competitor gaps
- Act as a brand ambassador, embodying the values, mission, and professionalism of Optiven at all times
- Update client and sales data in CRM tools, ensuring accurate and timely record-keeping
- Collaborate with the internal marketing team to execute promotional strategies and digital campaigns
- Write and deliver property briefs, client reports, and feedback summaries for management review
- Actively engage in content creation, including live videos, blog posts, and social media discussions related to the real estate industry
Qualifications and Skills
To qualify for the Property Sales & Marketing Executive role, candidates must meet the following minimum requirements:
- Diploma in Sales & Marketing, Marketing, or Business Administration from a recognized institution (a degree is an added advantage)
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in sales, business development, or marketing, ideally within the real estate sector
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Strong understanding of Kenya’s real estate market, including buyer behaviors, pricing strategies, and market segmentation
- Must have an active social media following with at least 2,000 followers; personal brand credibility will be considered a plus
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, capable of engaging high-net-worth individuals
- Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets under pressure
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a strong sense of emotional intelligence
- Well-organized, detail-oriented, and capable of juggling multiple tasks
- A team player, capable of collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to achieve business objectives
- Tech-savvy, with experience using CRM systems, sales software, and digital tools such as Canva, Mailchimp, Meta Business Suite, etc.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays when required for site visits and exhibitions
