Introduction
The Center for International Forestry Research and World Agroforestry (CIFOR-ICRAF), through its African Women in Agricultural Research and Development (AWARD) initiative, is recruiting 2 Training and Development Officers to support coordination of virtual/in-person courses, curriculum/content development, trainer management, knowledge management, pre/post-training follow-up, and stakeholder liaison for fellowship programs and partner institutions – focusing on anglophone participants.

Overview
To provide support to the Senior Training Officers in the coordination of AWARD’s planned virtual and in person courses, ensuring the smooth planning, delivery and follow-up of high-quality training activities, with a focus on anglophone participants and specific deliverables.
Key Responsibilities
AWARD Training Activities Coordination
- Timely planning/scheduling/execution of courses per workplan.
- Prepare course materials to AWARD standards.
- Outline/share venue requirements with operations.
- Communicate schedules/requirements/pre-course activities to participants, monitor progress.
- Administer assessments, generate reports.
- Support delivery – tools/equipment, trainer/participant needs.
