Key Responsibilities
Instruction and Leadership
- Teach up to ten (10) lessons per week within your subject area to stay engaged in classroom practice
- Collaborate with the Principal to define and implement the school’s academic and cultural vision
- Model and uphold a culture of excellence and a growth mindset among educators and learners
- Lead school-wide events and routines that reinforce shared values and promote school culture
Behavior and Culture Management
- Identify and resolve culture and behavior issues to support effective teaching and learning
- Provide instructional workshops for parents and external stakeholders to foster community alignment
Curriculum and Content Management
- Collect and relay feedback from teachers to the Lesson Design team to enhance instructional content
- Ensure timely delivery of learning materials in coordination with the Operations Associate
Hiring and Professional Development
- Act as hiring manager for all instructional staff hires
- Conduct structured coaching through observations, feedback sessions, and walkthroughs
- Facilitate ongoing Professional Development (PD) activities aligned with strategic goals
Collaboration and Strategic Planning
- Lead cross-grade and cross-subject collaborations to foster interdisciplinary teaching
- Analyze school-level and class-level assessment data to improve instructional outcomes
- Design and monitor intervention programs tailored to student learning profiles
Scheduling and Operational Oversight
- Work with academic leaders to manage the academic calendar and timetabling
- Ensure all PD sessions are meaningful, hands-on, and feedback-driven
Qualifications and Skills
Educational Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Education (required)
- TSC Certification (required)
- Master’s Degree in Education or Education Management (preferred)
Professional Experience
- Minimum two years of teaching experience in a high-performing academic environment
- Previous leadership experience, such as Head of Department, Grade Lead, or Instructional Coach
- Proven ability to coach and uplift teacher performance
