About the Kazi Mtaani 2025 Program
The Kazi Mtaani 2025 Program, operating under the new identity “Climate Workx,” is a government-backed national employment scheme aimed at addressing the critical issue of youth unemployment while simultaneously investing in Kenya’s green future. Administered by KeRRA (Kenya Rural Roads Authority) and KURA (Kenya Urban Roads Authority) in partnership with National Government Administration Officers (NGAO), this initiative ensures structured engagement and transparent operations across the country.
The 2025 edition of Kazi Mtaani brings a dual mission: empowering youth through structured employment and promoting environmental stewardship in every corner of Kenya. The program emphasizes discipline, work ethic, civic responsibility, and environmental regeneration—values that not only benefit communities today but secure Kenya’s future.
Key institutional partners include:
- Kenya Forest Service (KFS)
- KeRRA/KURA Engineers and Technical Staff
- Assistant Chiefs and Nyumba Kumi Leaders
- Ministry of Youth Affairs and County Commissioner Offices
Participants are not only offered short-term jobs—they are immersed in a coordinated ecosystem of training, values education, and civic awareness. Activities are designed to generate income while creating a national identity of purpose and pride.
