Job Opening 1: Head of Security Operations

Role Purpose:

To ensure the safety of guests, staff, and property by leading all security operations, enforcing safety protocols, managing risks, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The role supports a secure and welcoming environment that protects the hotel’s reputation and ensures smooth operations.

Roles and Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

  • Develop and enforce security policies, systems, and procedures.
  • Oversee surveillance, access control, and incident response mechanisms.
  • Coordinate with law enforcement agencies and manage investigations.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and protect physical and IT assets.
  • Lead, train, and manage the hotel’s security personnel.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA 2007 health and safety regulations.
  • Manage emergency protocols and organize regular safety training.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Background in security or law enforcement highly preferred.
  • Diploma and professional security training required.
  • Membership in PROASAK or similar associations is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Security Manager in a 4- or 5-star hotel, ideally with international brand exposure.
  • Must be computer literate.

Job Opening 2: Income Auditor

Role Purpose:

To ensure accuracy, completeness, and regulatory compliance in all revenue transactions by reviewing and verifying financial documentation across hotel departments. The role supports financial integrity and operational transparency.

Roles and Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

  • Validate system rates against contracts and verify banquet charges.
  • Authenticate documentation for complimentary and house-use rooms.
  • Confirm correct posting of guest and non-guest transactions.
  • Reconcile Mpesa, credit card, and restaurant cash payments.
  • Provide backup for city ledger checkouts and validate internal transfers.
  • Reconcile housekeeping and front office status reports.
  • Oversee timely billing, correct cashier errors, and ensure all departures are closed accurately.
  • Review POS checks, daily summaries, and ensure audit trail compliance.
  • Monitor rate queries and support additional audits or investigations as needed.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • CPA Part III certification or equivalent.

  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and accounting software (Micros, Opera, Materials Control, Sun Systems).
