Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and report on project financial gaps and challenges to ensure efficient resource allocation through consultative processes
- Ensure monthly timesheets are approved per allocation and Centre’s timeline for accurate tracking
- Develop proper budgeting and financing for proposals and projects based on resource allocation and requirements
- Update the centre project management tools with precise project information according to donor agreements
- Create clear project and work plans, ensuring team members’ time planning is updated in the centre time management system
- Share monthly financial reports with the team for review by project managers on resource spending and planning
- Facilitate timely donor reporting, supporting the finance team on invoices and financial reports
- Support team planning and project implementation, including taking minutes and assisting in event organization
- Lead the design and implementation of MREAL result frameworks and ‘Theory of Change’ for centre and programmes
- Integrate MREAL in project design, implementation, and reporting for enhanced outcomes
- Implement and optimize online solutions for MREAL in projects and programmes
- Oversee data collection, assess project progress, and generate insights to refine designs
- Update project results frameworks as needed for alignment with goals
- Train and guide partners and stakeholders in MREAL and field monitoring
- Manage administrative and reporting tasks, including time reporting and expense claims
- Identify fundraising opportunities, support proposals, and enhance multi-stakeholder partnerships
- Support fundraising initiatives, donor profiling, and monthly funding updates
- Provide assistance in proposal development, ensuring internal processes and donor compliance
- Assist in building strategic partnerships with governments, civil society, private sector, and donors
- Prepare documents like agendas, work plans, reports, publications, and proposals as assigned
- Perform other tasks directed by the Project Leader, Line Manager, and team
- Provide technical leadership in MREAL framework design, development, planning, budgeting, and implementation
- Oversee MREAL work implementation, reporting, monitoring, and learning
- Guide employee professional development in MREAL activities
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree with at least four years of work experience, or Master’s degree with at least two years in relevant fields
- Proven experience in project administration, coordination, and interdisciplinary teams
- Knowledge of project management, MEL, and finance/budgeting
- Certification or training in project management
- Knowledge of climate finance, policy, sustainable development, and participatory research
- Experience in the Africa region
- Proficiency in an Asian language is an advantage
