About Galana Energies Limited
Galana Energies Limited ranks among Kenya’s premier oil-marketing companies, importing, marketing, and distributing high-quality fuels, LPG, and lubricants nationwide. The organisation operates an ever-expanding network of service stations under the Galana Energies and Delta brands, championing cutting-edge health, safety, security, environment, and quality (HSSEQ) compliance. Leveraging robust supply-chain partnerships and advanced logistics, Galana Energies positions itself at the forefront of Kenya’s competitive downstream petroleum landscape, delivering reliable energy products while nurturing talent through sector-leading operations jobs in Kenya.
Key Responsibilities
Retail Growth & Revenue Leadership
- Drive achievement of monthly and annual volume targets for all fuel, LPG, and lubricant product lines across every service station in the assigned region.
- Formulate data-driven growth strategies, identify high-margin cross-selling opportunities, and secure incremental market share among competing operations jobs in Kenya.
- Negotiate commercial terms with strategic dealers to maximise profitability while protecting brand equity.
Network Expansion & Market Intelligence
- Prospect high-traffic corridors and underserved counties, preparing feasibility reports that justify new-builds, conversions, or dealer takeovers.
- Coordinate end-to-end site acquisition, due-diligence, and licensing processes in collaboration with legal and engineering teams—ensuring seamless scalability of operations jobs in Kenya within the retail ecosystem.
- Conduct competitive market assessments to fine-tune pricing, loyalty programmes, and promotional campaigns.
HSSEQ & Regulatory Compliance
- Enforce the company’s HSSEQ framework, ensuring every station meets—or exceeds—statutory requirements and internal audit thresholds.
- Embed a culture of zero harm by coaching dealers and pump attendants on emergency preparedness, product-handling protocols, and environmental stewardship—hallmarks of responsible operations jobs in Kenya.
- Liaise with county and national regulators to secure permits, renew licenses, and keep meticulous compliance records.
Dealer Performance Management
- Mentor service-station dealers through quarterly performance reviews, refining their sales forecasts, expense controls, and cash-management practices.
- Facilitate continuous professional development via in-station coaching on product knowledge, customer-service etiquette, and digital sales dashboards.
- Champion non-fuel retail growth—food courts, car-care bays, mobile-money kiosks—to diversify revenue streams and enhance the attractiveness of modern operations jobs in Kenya.
Customer-Experience Excellence
- Engineer station-level service-quality audits, tracking Net Promoter Scores (NPS) and mystery-shopper insights to close customer-satisfaction gaps.
- Design region-wide service campaigns—car-clinic weekends, loyalty-card activations, data-fuel bundles—that captivate modern Kenyan motorists and benchmark progressive operations jobs in Kenya.
- Resolve escalated customer issues with empathy and agility, safeguarding brand reputation in the digital age.
Reporting, Analytics & Budgeting
- Compile monthly sales and training dashboards, translating raw data into actionable management intelligence for C-suite decisions.
- Prepare annual OPEX and CAPEX budgets for regional retail operations, articulating ROI on marketing initiatives, refurbishments, and HSSEQ upgrades.
- Leverage advanced analytics to correlate foot-fall trends with promotional spend, upskilling colleagues across interrelated operations jobs in Kenya.
Qualifications and Skills
Mandatory
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Supply-Chain, or a related discipline.
- Minimum three (3) years’ proven success in petroleum retail, FMCG sales, or multi-site service-station management within dynamic operations jobs in Kenya.
- Demonstrable expertise in dealer relationship management, sales forecasting, and HSSEQ compliance.
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities—capable of inspiring cross-functional teams.
- Fluent written and spoken English and Kiswahili; additional regional languages are advantageous.
Preferred

- Certification in HSSEQ, ISO 45001, or related safety frameworks.
- Advanced proficiency in data-visualisation tools (Power BI, Tableau) for evidence-based operations jobs in Kenya reporting.
