Human Resources Manager (1 Position)

• Lead formulation and implementation of HR policies, analyzing their impact on staff

Rail Development Manager – Mechanical Engineering (1 Position)

• Oversee formulation, development, and implementation of divisional plans and maintenance procedures
• Provide engineering advice on mechanical functions for locomotives, rolling stock, plant, and equipment
• Oversee design and planning of locomotive and equipment projects
• Facilitate development and approval of policies and standards
• Lead maintenance and development programs for train and marine operations
• Oversee scheduled and unscheduled maintenance per OEM standards
• Manage remanufacture/rehabilitation projects
• Oversee workshop and depot activities for high productivity
• Review and approve onboard equipment for rail safety

Qualifications and Skills

• Education: Master’s degree in a relevant field; Bachelor’s degree in Law
• Professional Qualifications: Postgraduate Diploma in Law from Kenya School of Law; Advocate of the High Court of Kenya; Member of Law Society of Kenya; Certificate in Leadership Course (4 weeks)
• Experience: Ten (10) years relevant experience, five (5) at management level
• Required Skills: Decision making, strategic, financial, managerial, operational, and analytical decisions

Human Resources Manager (1 Position)

• Education: Master’s Degree in HR Management, Public Administration, Business Administration, or equivalent; Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
• Professional Qualifications: CHRP (K) from HRMPEB; Leadership course (4 weeks); Full membership and practicing certificate from Institute of Human Resource Management
• Experience: Ten (10) years relevant experience, five (5) in a management position
