Key Responsibilities
- Content Creation: Develop and design a wide range of visual and multimedia materials, including videos, presentations, brochures, flyers, infographics, web banners, social media visuals, and branded merchandise, to support university-wide fundraising campaigns, donor proposals, reports, student recruitment drives, events, and institutional marketing efforts.
- Fundraising Support: Create visual assets for fundraising communications, such as donor impact reports, naming opportunity spotlights, scholarship appeals, and stakeholder presentations, enhancing donor engagement and support for AMIU’s initiatives.
- Marketing Collaboration: Work with the Marketing & Communication Officer to design graphics for social media, email marketing campaigns, the university website, and institutional promotions, ensuring consistent and engaging digital content.
- Event Promotion: Contribute to event promotions by producing banners, digital displays, roll-ups, and other branded materials aligned with each event’s theme, boosting attendance and visibility.
- Brand Consistency: Ensure brand consistency across all designs by adhering to AMIU’s visual identity guidelines and editorial tone, maintaining a unified and professional image.
- Content Management: Maintain and organize the university’s digital content library, including photos, videos, templates, and design assets, ensuring easy access and efficient use by the team.
- Real-Time Coverage: Support real-time content development and coverage during university events, capturing moments through photography, videography, or live social media updates to engage audiences instantly.
- Trend Awareness: Stay up-to-date on design and media trends to continually enhance AMIU’s creative outputs, incorporating innovative techniques to keep content fresh and relevant.
Qualifications and Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia, Communications, or a related field (preferred but not specified)
- Experience: Minimum 1-2 years in content development, graphic design, or multimedia production, ideally in an educational, NGO, or health-related setting
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro), Canva, or similar tools
- Experience with video editing, photography, or digital content creation
