Key Responsibilities

• Quality Control Oversight: Monitor and supervise all quality control mechanisms in strict adherence to the company’s Quality Manual, ensuring the continuous production and supply of premium rose stems as per client specifications.
• Compliance Management: Ensure full compliance with established Quality Management Systems (QMS) standards, guaranteeing product safety, legality, and customer satisfaction.
• Dispatch Quality Assurance: Oversee the packing and dispatch processes to ensure all flower shipments meet precise customer requirements and specifications.
• Audit Preparedness: Prepare for and respond promptly to internal and external audit requirements, ensuring ongoing readiness and compliance.
• Non-Conformance Management: Identify, document, and escalate non-conformance issues that may disrupt packing operations to senior management.
• Staff Training and Development: Collaborate with the QA Manager to organize regular staff trainings on industry codes of practice, global standards, and evolving customer specifications.
• Documentation Control: Develop, maintain, and review all QA data documentation, internal control procedures, and operational manuals to ensure accuracy and up-to-date compliance.
• Job Descriptions & Team Oversight: Review and update job descriptions for Quality Controllers (QCs) and QA Supervisors while providing day-to-day leadership and mentorship.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Foster collaboration between production, packing, logistics, and sales teams to meet operational and customer objectives.
• Customer Satisfaction: Actively uphold AAA Roses’ mission of ensuring maximum customer satisfaction through consistent product quality and timely deliveries.

Qualifications and Skills

Required Qualifications:

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Horticulture, Floriculture, Agriculture, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• Industry Experience: 3-5 years’ experience within the flower industry, preferably in roses production, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial QA role.
• Quality Standards Knowledge: In-depth understanding of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems, internal auditing processes, and global horticultural compliance standards.
• Leadership Competence: Proven leadership and management abilities, with a demonstrated capacity to supervise, motivate, and develop cross-functional teams.
• Independence: Ability to work under minimal supervision, proactively solving problems and making informed decisions.
• Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication, collaboration, and conflict-resolution skills that support effective teamwork and customer relations.
• Analytical Mindset: Strong analytical and decision-making capabilities with attention to detail and process optimization.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in English, both verbal and written.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel, for data analysis, reporting, and documentation control.

Preferred Qualifications:

• International Compliance Certifications: Training or certifications in GlobalG.A.P, MPS, or similar international horticultural standards.
• Export Industry Experience: Direct experience with export-oriented flower production and packaging processes.
• Process Improvement: Demonstrated track record of implementing process improvements that have enhanced quality outcomes or operational efficiencies.
