Key Responsibilities
Intake and Receiving Quality Control
- Coordinate thorough intake inspections upon produce arrival at receiving points, meticulously verifying that each batch aligns with internal and client-specific quality control jobs in Kenya standards.

Trend Monitoring and Continuous Improvement
- Identify and track emerging quality trends among out-growers, enabling early detection of recurring quality challenges.
- Conduct regular feedback sessions with suppliers, promoting knowledge-sharing and process improvements that enhance compliance with quality control jobs in Kenya standards.
- Collaborate with R&D and technical support units to introduce advanced farming and post-harvest technologies to suppliers.
Packhouse Quality Assurance Supervision

Documentation, Reporting & Traceability

- Monitor hygiene standards throughout the intake and packing areas, ensuring zero contamination risks.
Daily Operational Oversight
- Provide daily intake quality performance reports with data-driven insights and actionable recommendations.
- Participate in special projects such as new supplier onboarding, trial variety evaluations, and market-readiness assessments.
Research, Innovation & Special Projects
- Support ongoing R&D projects focused on fruit preservation technologies, ripening protocols, and improved export shelf life.
- Collaborate with global research institutions on improving post-harvest technologies aligned with quality control jobs in Kenya innovations.
Qualifications and Skills
Required Qualifications
- Academic Credentials: Degree or Diploma in Agriculture, Horticulture, Food Science, Agronomy, or a closely related field.
- Work Experience: Minimum of 2–3 years in quality control jobs in Kenya within fresh produce, horticulture, or agro-export industries.
- Technical Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of fruit post-harvest handling, maturity assessment, and advanced quality metrics.
