JOB OVERVIEW
Key Responsibilities
Your day-to-day duties as a Kilimall casual worker will be centered around warehouse operations and customer order fulfillment. These include but are not limited to:
1. Timely Order Picking
- Locate, retrieve, and prepare ordered items accurately from warehouse shelves
- Use order slips or electronic picking devices to track and confirm picks
- Meet daily pick-rate targets and accuracy standards
2. Accurate Order Verification
- Ensure items picked match the quantity and specifications in the order
- Flag and resolve discrepancies promptly with your team leader
- Ensure all goods picked are intact, not expired, and ready for delivery
3. Packaging and Dispatch Preparation
- Assist in boxing, sealing, and labeling items correctly
- Organize verified orders based on delivery routes and schedules
- Ensure correct loading into dispatch trucks or shelves for pickup
4. Zero-Error Fulfillment
- Minimize order errors, missing items, or misdeliveries
- Participate in cross-checking other orders before dispatch
- Maintain a record of complete, accurate dispatch logs
5. Task Handling and SOP Compliance
- Follow established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for order handling
- Use handling equipment (if applicable) properly and safely
- Maintain order and tidiness in your workstation
6. Reporting and Collaboration
- Communicate clearly with supervisors on any issues
- Support new staff and provide feedback on potential workflow improvements
- Work collaboratively with pickers, verifiers, and dispatch teams
Requirements
To qualify for this opportunity, applicants should meet the following minimum requirements:
Educational Qualifications
- A Diploma in a relevant field such as Supply Chain Management, Warehousing, Logistics, Procurement, or Business Management
- Degrees are accepted, but not required
Experience
- Previous experience in warehousing, fulfillment, or retail logistics is an added advantage but not mandatory
Skills and Competencies
- Excellent attention to detail when verifying and packaging orders
- Ability to handle tasks under minimal supervision
- Demonstrated understanding of operations and orderliness
- Strong time management and organizational skills
