African Elite Group, a forward-thinking design and innovation agency based in Nairobi, is seeking a highly talented and experienced Creative Designer with 3D Modeling Expertise to join its creative team. This full-time role is ideal for individuals who combine artistic vision with technical mastery, and who are passionate about turning concepts into immersive, spatially accurate, and visually compelling models.
The ideal candidate must have a deep understanding of 3D visualization, spatial awareness, and digital design workflows, along with a minimum of 4 years of professional experience. If you are innovative, trend-aware, and proficient with tools like SketchUp, Maya, Live Home 3D, and the Adobe Creative Suite, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities
As a Creative Designer with 3D Modeling Expertise, you will be responsible for bringing concepts to life using a combination of design thinking, digital tools, and architectural visualization techniques. Your work will support client presentations, project approvals, and marketing content.
Your Core Duties Will Include:
- Design Creation and Execution – Develop and execute creative concepts into tangible visual assets
- 3D Modeling and Rendering – Produce accurate, photo-realistic models for interior, exterior, product, and experiential spaces
- Graphic Design Integration – Merge 2D and 3D assets into compelling narratives using motion graphics, layouts, and static content
- Project Management Support – Manage project timelines, track deliverables, and liaise with clients or production teams to ensure goals are met
- Innovation and Trend Awareness – Stay updated with emerging tools, rendering techniques, and global design trends to inform creative output
Specific Tasks May Include:
- Designing mock-ups and visualizations for commercial and residential spaces
- Creating fly-through animations or virtual walkthroughs for client approvals
- Preparing materials, texture mapping, lighting simulations, and camera movements
- Collaborating with architects, set designers, and branding teams
- Building libraries of reusable assets and templates for future projects
Required Qualifications
We are looking for a highly skilled professional with strong academic credentials and a proven creative portfolio. Minimum qualifications include:
- Bachelor’s degree in one of the following fields:
- Graphic Design
- 3D Modeling or Animation
- Visual Arts
- Interior Design
- Architecture
- Or a related design discipline
- Minimum of 4 years of hands-on professional experience in:
- 3D modeling and rendering
- Spatial visualization
- Creative direction or visual storytelling
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex creative projects from concept to delivery
Required Technical Proficiency
Applicants must be proficient in the following software/tools:
- SketchUp – for quick modeling and concept development
- Maya – for advanced 3D design and animation
- Live Home 3D – for real-world architectural and interior modeling
- Adobe Creative Suite, especially:
- Photoshop
- Illustrator
- InDesign
- After Effects (basic motion graphics is a plus)
Candidates who can demonstrate fluency in Cinema 4D, Blender, Rhino, or Unity (for AR/VR-ready environments) will have a distinct advantage.

- Examples of 2D design work, where applicable
