1. Product Champion – LPO Financing
Location: Nairobi, Kenya
Overview
As a Product Champion for our LPO Financing product, you will be responsible for driving the success of this lending line by overseeing product development, client onboarding, sales enablement, and operational efficiency. You will serve as the bridge between product, credit risk, compliance, and marketing departments, ensuring that our LPO Financing solution remains competitive, scalable, and customer-centric.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the financial services sector, preferably in a commercial bank, SACCO, or microfinance institution
- At least 2 years’ hands-on experience in product management, especially in trade finance, invoice discounting, or SME lending
- Demonstrated ability to launch and manage successful loan products targeting SMEs
- Familiarity with financial regulations affecting trade finance and procurement-backed lending
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Must have worked in a microfinance or alternative finance institution
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the product roadmap for LPO Financing
- Identify market gaps and design solutions that address SME cash flow needs
- Collaborate with credit risk and legal teams to structure competitive loan terms
- Train relationship officers and sales teams on the LPO product features and client qualification processes
- Monitor portfolio health, defaults, recoveries, and disbursement cycles
- Report performance metrics to senior management and propose product iterations
- Build partnerships with vendors, aggregators, and procurement service providers to deepen market reach
2. Internal Audit Officer
Location: Nairobi, Kenya
Overview
As an Internal Audit Officer, you will be part of the team that ensures the company operates within regulatory and policy guidelines. Your focus will be on assessing internal controls, reviewing credit processes, auditing digital lending products, and evaluating the integrity of the company’s financial and operational systems.
This role is suitable for detail-oriented professionals with a background in financial audits, risk management, and compliance, particularly in microfinance institutions or credit companies.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or ACCA certification is mandatory
- At least 2 years of internal or external audit experience in a financial institution or a recognized audit firm
- Experience using audit management software such as Team Mate or ACL
- Proven ability to audit IT systems, mobile lending platforms, and digital finance workflows
- Strong knowledge of internal control standards, compliance frameworks, and regulatory reporting
- Familiarity with CBK Prudential Guidelines and AML/CFT reporting
- Previous experience in a microfinance setup is a must
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct risk-based audits of operational, financial, and IT functions
- Evaluate controls over lending, loan recovery, KYC/AML compliance, and cash handling
- Carry out audit engagements at the branch level, documenting observations and recommendations
- Ensure that digital finance operations adhere to cybersecurity and data protection protocols
- Coordinate with departmental heads and respond to audit queries from regulators and external auditors
- Prepare audit plans, conduct follow-ups, and provide assurance over governance processes
3. Regional Sales Manager – Coastal Region
Location: Mombasa and Surrounding Counties
Overview
The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for overseeing all sales operations within the Coastal Region. This includes leading a team of relationship officers, building partnerships, optimizing client onboarding, and achieving set financial targets. The role demands an experienced leader with strong credit knowledge, deep understanding of microfinance principles, and proven ability to drive revenue.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a relevant discipline
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in financial services, with at least 2 years in a team leadership role
- Demonstrated understanding of microfinance products, loan processing, and customer service
- Knowledge of the regulatory landscape and local market dynamics in Mombasa and nearby counties
- Excellent people management, communication, and analytical skills
- Familiarity with CRM software, loan tracking systems, and performance dashboards
- Must have a successful record in growing portfolios, managing loan performance, and reducing delinquency
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead sales strategy development and execution in the Coastal Region
- Supervise and mentor branch staff, loan officers, and business development agents
- Monitor team performance, guide improvements, and meet branch-level KPIs
- Conduct regional market analysis to refine product positioning
- Foster client retention through value-added services and customer education
- Develop partnerships with local businesses, county government, and cooperatives
- Drive loan disbursement, account growth, and customer satisfaction goals
- Ensure strict adherence to all internal policies and external regulatory standards
