Introduction

Minimum Qualifications and Eligibility Criteria

To be considered for selection, candidates must meet the following strict requirements:

Age Requirements

• Male Applicants: 28 to 42 years old
• Female Applicants: 26 to 35 years old

Height Requirements

• Male Applicants: Minimum height of 5’9″
• Female Applicants: Minimum height of 5’8″

Criminal Record

• Must have a clean criminal background
• Must not be under any police or judicial investigation

Educational Requirements

• Minimum academic qualification: KCSE Grade D+ (or its equivalent)
• Demonstrated strong literacy and numeracy skills

Technical Proficiency

• Must be skilled in operating computer-based systems
• Basic digital literacy will be tested

Physical Capability

• Physically fit and healthy, able to perform security drills, emergency response, and routine patrols
• Must pass a Physical Fitness Assessment conducted on-site

Practical Security Skills

• Ability to demonstrate basic security protocols and routines
• Familiarity with incident handling, patrolling, and observation skills is an added advantage

Recruitment Process Breakdown

1. Qualification Check

• Verification of original documents (KCPE, KCSE, ID, and certificates)

2. Physical Fitness Assessment

• Timed running, push-ups, and sit-ups
• Flexibility, endurance, and strength tests
• Observation of coordination and balance

3. Psychological Test

• Basic cognitive ability and stress tolerance evaluation

4. Practical Interview (Where applicable)

• Scenario-based tasks to evaluate decision-making under pressure
• Communication and alertness assessment

Important Instructions for Recruitment Day

All candidates must adhere to the following guidelines:

• Arrive between 8:00 AM and 12:00 PM strictly – latecomers will not be admitted
• Dress appropriately for physical activity (e.g., athletic attire, running shoes)
• Carry the original copies and two photocopies of the following documents:
  • National Identity Card (ID)
  • KCPE and KCSE Certificates
  • Primary and Secondary School Leaving Certificates
  • Any relevant professional or vocational certifications
